Maintenance Mechanic

The foundation of our business is our galvanized, brite and reinforcing wire, though we also produce an assortment of specialty wires to fit almost any need. We currently seek a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Irwindale, California. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical and/or electrical maintenance Strong working knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics Electrical troubleshooting skills including PLC basics, VFDs, sensors, control panels, and low-to-medium voltage systems Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment efficiently to minimize downtime Experience working in a manufacturing or heavy industrial equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals Familiarity with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally Good communication skills and willingness to support operations We offer: Medical Dental Vision Paid Vacation Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays Pension Life Insurance This is a union position.
