Job Description

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Maintenance Technicianto join a leading Company located in theLake Forest, CAsurrounding area.
Salary:
$72,800 The Maintenance Tech II is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures on CNC equipment. This role requires reading schematics and parts drawings, performing preventive maintenance on machines and facilities, and using a multimeter proficiently. The technician will utilize downtime reports to prioritize work based on production needs and collaborate closely with the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor to execute work orders and maintain equipment reliability.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Maintain, repair, and set up robotics, CNC machines, vision systems, and other control-driven equipment + Troubleshoot, repair, and program control systems on plant equipment + Calibrate, repair, and troubleshoot robotic systems (Fanuc and ABB) + Calibrate, repair, and troubleshoot vision systems (Fanuc, ABB, and Cognex) + Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams to restore equipment to full production capacity + Communicate with supervisors regarding issues that may impact production + Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized maintenance needs + Maintain records of equipment and machinery for maintenance tracking + Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory to reduce downtime + Support preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC and production equipment + Move and install plant equipment and complete pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic connections + Design and program control circuits for PLC-controlled equipment
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Completion of a certification in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent formal training with 5+ years of experience + High school diploma or equivalent required + Ability to program and teach Fanuc and ABB robots + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills + Strong electrical and hydraulic experience (pneumatics a plus) Benefits offered vary by contract.
