This role ensures equipment reliability, production readiness, and compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement and team initiatives. What You'll Do Perform mechanical and electromechanical maintenance activities on production equipment Troubleshoot and repair issues involving fillers, case packers, cappers, blend systems, silos, and CIP systems Conduct preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on processing and packaging equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation Support equipment changeovers, conversions, and precision machine setup Document maintenance activities and complete work orders in the CMMS system Assist with maintenance planning, parts procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives Support plant utilities including boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and chillers Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with GMP and SOP requirements
Requirements:
What You'll Need High school diploma with 2-5 years of experience in food processing or high-speed filling equipment Experience troubleshooting aseptic food packaging machinery Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, AC/DC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation Experience using
CMMS/CSMMS
systems in an industrial environment Knowledge of safe electrical and mechanical work practices Proficiency with basic computer applications and maintenance reporting tools Ability to work independently and within a self-directed team environment
