Major League Glazing Door and Window Installer Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a multi-talented door worker with experience installing all types of doors, including aluminum, wood, metal, glass, fire, security, storm, sliding, French, bi-fold, and pocket doors. They will also have a strong understanding of the overall glazing process, from selecting the right type of glass to installing it correctly.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the type and size of doors needed. Measure and cut door openings to the correct size. Install door frames and hardware. Mount and secure doors in frames. Apply weatherstripping and caulking to seal doors. Repair or replace damaged doors. Clean and maintain doors. Select the right type of door for the application. Coordinate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to ensure that doors are installed correctly. Meet with clients to discuss their needs and preferences. Provide estimates for door installation services. Obtain permits and licenses required for door installation.

Qualifications:

Multi-talented door worker with experience installing all types of doors. Strong understanding of the glazing process. Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail.
