```Job Overview``` We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. ```Responsibilities```
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas in need of repair
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any urgent repairs
- Fabricate and install new equipment or fixtures as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical repairs
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
- Welding skills are a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively
