Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Ideal candidate will have experience: Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment. Responding and completing guest requests in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and circuit issues from distributions to service points. Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing supply, drain, sewer and storm drain systems. Completing daily maintenance and repair logs.

Performing plumbing work orders:

unplugging sinks, valves, replacing washer, gaskets, vacuum breakers, toilet seals. Performing well under pressure situations, time demands, and work overtime when needed. General maintenance including, light electrical, dry wall, painting, patching, wall paper repair, etc.

Qualifications :

Minimum of two years high quality building maintenance experience in hospitality or similar fast-paced environment. Hospitality experience highly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, management and colleagues. Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift or carry supplies, equipment or tools weighting up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to work holidays, weekends and nights. Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-orientated environment; to perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
