Desolation Hotel Hope Valley, is looking for a Maintenance Tech to join our Maintenance Team. We are located at 14255 CA•88, Markleeville

Job Title•

Desolation Hotel-Hope Valley, Markleeville, California 96120 Position•Full or Part Time available / 3-5 days per week
Overview:
Desolation Hotel Hope Valley is nestled in the mountains and features a resort with cabin accommodations, a campground with luxury yurts, RV & tent sites and 2 restaurants. Our maintenance team is a skilled group of both experienced professionals and lay people who learn on the job. The team enjoys working outside, problem solving and building & repairing the properties and infrastructure as well as landscaping.

Tasks are completed both independently and as a team. There are opportunities to creatively solve problems or build solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Preform daily maintenance related tasks Help to maintain equipment and facilities Help to maintain an organized inventory of tools and equipment Troubleshoot and perform repairs Implement preventative maintenance Ensure grounds are presentable Collaborate with management for guest satisfaction Respond to maintenance emergencies Help to manage snow removal in public areas
Qualifications:
Possess a working knowledge of; HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing Have strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities Posses a working knowledge of best practices in safety and regulations Experience with heavy equipment is preferred•bobcat, kubota, trailers, dump trucks, etc. Maintain a customer service mindset Exhibit creative solutions to problems Possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D Posses reliable, all season transportation 2 or more years of relevant experience
