 No Summary Contributing to maintaining the efficient running of all aspects of the designated production line. Essential Duties Follows up on work assignments as directed by the Supervisor. Comply with company H&S program and regulations. Coordinates resource requirements with the Engineering Manager and other Team Leaders. Attend all meetings as required. Participates in cross-training efforts across different workstations/cells. Contributes to the daily output of the workstation/cell: Product is manufactured within standard times. Product is manufactured according to the production schedule (timing and sequence). Products are manufactured within engineering specifications. Products are manufactured with the least amount of material and labor required. Records all required data. Ensure that all material is properly labeled and placed within proper staging/storage areas. Guarantees that any task performed within the work cell is completed in accordance with the written Standard Operating Procedure(s) for that task. Coordinates with the Materials Manager to ensure that all required supplies are on hand when needed. Works with the Engineering/Maintenance functions to resolve any technical difficulties the team may encounter. Responsible for completion of all Preventive Maintenance requirements within the work cell. Reports on maintenance requirements to the Maintenance Supervisor. Ensures that all rules/policies stated within the Employee Handbook, the Company Safety Programs, and any federal or state guidelines/laws are being adhered to within the work cell. Communicates to other Team Leaders and the Production Manager when policy violations are noticed within their own work cell or other areas of the facility. Reports infractions to the Maintenance Manager. Participate in any required disciplinary action. Establish an ongoing culture of cleanliness and order within the workstation/cell. Promote and sustain management programs that continuously improve internal processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and regulations and complete any necessary training. Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance. Follow compliance requirements per "
KNA-SOP-1705
Compliance Roles and Responsibilities." Performs all other duties as assigned. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent; college or technical degree or certification (related field) preferred. 3+ years of experience in insulated panel or related manufacturing or metal building projects. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt a plus. Computer Skills Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. Other Skills and Requirements High level of interpersonal skills. Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills. Good telephone and oral communication skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.  Lifting and carrying materials (often 25-50 lbs.); pushing or pulling carts, pallets, or equipment; adjusting body movements to match the pace of moving objects.
Sensory Requirements:
 Near and far visual acuity for spotting defects or reading gauges; hearing alarms, instructions, or machinery sounds; peripheral vision for monitoring surroundings.
Cognitive & Environmental Factors:
