ABOUT THE ROLE
This individual will be responsible for but not limited to the maintaining of the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center.
Hourly Pay Range:
$24•$26/hour
Work Schedule:
Tuesday•Saturday / 5am•1:30pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Experience with Distribution and/or commercial building maintenance, General roof inspections (Roof Drains, Exhaust fans, AC, Roof membrane) Landscaping Plumbing Painting Carpentry Lighting Knowledge of electricity and electric control panels (Any training or schooling a plus) Drywall installation and repair Concrete repairs & coatings High bay racking Roll up doors Janitorial requirements and supplies (good housekeeping) Building safety and safety for all personnel Ability to identify facility needs and or potential problem areas Ability to use all shop tools
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Must be
CAL OSHA
certified on a Reach and/or Order Picker/Walker Rider equipment, etc. Ability to keep the department OSHA Compliant Extensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety Communicate with upper management on a daily basis Ability to take directives from Maintenance Manager Good oral and written communication skills Must be detail oriented, Perform housekeeping duties when needed, Must be able to take constructive criticism Ability to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times, Must be able to perform any other special projects and general requests made by direct supervisor as needed Ability to contribute hands on Work with minimal supervision
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
