About The Role The Maintenance Technician will support the business in safely achieving its goals by working safely, communicating early and often, adhering to the preventive/predictive maintenance program, troubleshooting unintended downtime issues, developing root cause & counter measures, focused on continuous improvement and growing skillset. What You'll Do 1. Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect. 2. Maintains clean area after job completion, in fabrication area, tool storage and parts room. 3. Always seeking to enhance technical abilities by attending workshops, online/in person seminars and reading operations and maintenance manuals. 4. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, electrical and facility repairs. 5. Maintains plant equipment using voltmeters, calipers, ohmmeters, pressure gauges, communication, visual and auditory inspections. 6. Perform welding, cutting, soldering, brazing and plumbing as needed. 7. Read ladder logic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and blueprints to troubleshoot machines. 8. Installs, programs, and repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots, application heads, dosing systems and others. 9. Add, update and complete work orders and PMs in
CMMS. 10.
Use equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, hoists, and other rigging to install equipment. 11. Follow company policy regarding PPE, use of personal tools and equipment unless otherwise authorize. 12. Should be available to return to work to perform emergency maintenance work under the request of immediate supervisor. (No work is performed off the clock). 13. Other duties and special projects as need arises.
Experience Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years' Maintenance Technician experience required. 2. Experience and aptitude in electrical up to 480V 3-Phase, a plus. 3. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, CMMS) 4. Prior experience handling chemicals and hazardous materials is helpful but not required. 5. Familiar with Safety Data Sheets and understanding their content, a plus. 6. Experience with construction-related tools and equipment a definite plus. 7. Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
Training & Education:
1. High school education or equivalent. 2.
