Job Description
Overview Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for maintaining and improving spaces? We're seeking a dynamic and energetic Handyman to join our team! In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for a wide range of repair, maintenance, and renovation tasks that keep our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. Your proactive approach and skilled craftsmanship will ensure that every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks across various areas, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring Troubleshoot issues quickly and accurately to identify root causes and implement effective solutions Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs before they become problems Collaborate with team members to plan and execute larger repair or renovation projects Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in excellent condition to ensure safety and efficiency Document completed work, materials used, and any follow-up actions required Assist with moving furniture or equipment as needed to support facility operations Qualifications Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set in repairs and general upkeep Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and other trade skills Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, or diagrams to guide repairs Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality workmanship Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation required Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on work progress Join us if you're ready to bring your hands-on expertise to a vibrant environment where your skills make a real difference!
