The ideal candidate will be repairing various items with-in the guest rooms ranging from painting, basic plumbing, drywall repairs, minor carpet repair and wash, basic electrical, and other tasks as assigned by Chief Engineer. Responsibilities Work with Chief Engineer to perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including thermostats, outlets, light switches, lamps, etc... Interpret equipment plans to diagnose issues and implement solutions Carry out facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, basic HVAC, painting, minor woodwork, and general repairs as assigned. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using notebook, hotel systems in which you will be trained on, and checklists. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety Offer exceptional customer service when interacting with hotel guests during maintenance visits Assist Chief Engineer in other various projects that may include replacing tile, grout, water heaters, and other major plumbing and/or structural repairs. Skills Proficiency in electrical experience, including working with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools Experience in facilities maintenance across various environments, including manufacturing settings Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and/or Spanish OK) Customer service orientation with a focus on meeting client needs Knowledge in the use of various hand and power tools. Pay:
