Position:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company's established standards and any applicable laws. They will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance. Associates may be certified in one or all of the skilled trades in which they are responsible. Maintenance Technicians, as with all members of Picerne Residential, are expected to conduct himself/herself in a manner, which demonstrates initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercises confidentiality in the appropriate areas of his/her performance.

Key Position Responsibilities:

Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service by taking appropriate action utilizing superior skill and knowledge for HVAC, heating and plumbing systems, and provide any system repair within the quality and time standards established by the organization Complete service request information using assigned software while on the service call Will back up Porters as needed or directed to ensure that apartments are ready for occupancy Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace and ensure they are organized and in proper working order, request replacements as necessary, and assist in stocking the inventory Participate in the awareness of the overall appearance and cleanliness of the communities. All deficiencies and or risk management safety issues are reported immediately Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects

Open Availability Required What You Bring:

3-5 years experience in general maintenance work, specifically in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC related duties HVAC certification preferred Hospitality and/or Property Maintenance experience highly preferred Valid CA Driver's License and the ability to commute to and from work

The physical demands described here are a representation of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb up and down stairs, stoop, kneel, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
