Maintenance Technician

Position Summary Fairfield Inn & Suites Oakhurst / Yosemite is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of the hotel to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues Maintain grounds, parking areas, and exterior appearance of the property Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel policies Assist with room inspections to ensure readiness and quality standards Keep accurate maintenance logs and records Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience a plus) Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive pay Paid time off Employee hotel discounts (Marriott benefits) Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment
