Applicants should have hands-on experience performing strip and wax services, scrub and recoat procedures, and operating commercial floor care equipment. Applicants without commercial floor care experience may not be considered. Position Summary We're seeking experienced technicians to perform specialized commercial floor care services including: Strip and wax VCT flooring Scrub and recoat floors Burnishing Buffing Floor restoration Deep floor maintenance This is a part-time W-2 position with flexible, project-based scheduling . Projects are scheduled in advance based on client needs. Most work is performed during evenings, nights, and weekends, with opportunities for additional hours as Flamingo Cleaning Company continues to grow. Responsibilities Perform strip and wax services on VCT flooring Scrub and recoat commercial floors Burnish and buff finished floors Operate commercial floor care equipment safely and efficiently Prepare and protect surrounding work areas Maintain equipment and supplies Follow company safety procedures and quality standards Complete projects according to company specifications Represent Flamingo Cleaning Company professionally at all times Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of commercial floor care experience Experience independently performing strip and wax services Experience with scrub and recoat procedures Experience operating: Swing Machines Auto Scrubbers Burnishers Floor Buffers Wet Vacuums Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in schools Experience in medical facilities Experience in commercial office buildings Crew lead or supervisory experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Push and operate commercial floor machines Work safely in a physically demanding environment Project Locations This position supports commercial floor care projects throughout Southern California, including: Tujunga Santa Clarita Glendora Ontario Apple Valley Surrounding communities Applicants must be willing to travel to assigned project sites.
