The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanics, with expertise in various systems including HVAC, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, and electrical components. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot vehicle issues and maintain fleet knowledge of waste water system Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to ensure optimal performance of machinery. Read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and mechanical layouts. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support regarding equipment functionality. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the maintenance area. Assist in training junior staff on maintenance procedures and safety practices. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician in a manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and high/low voltage electrical systems. Proficiency in welding techniques, including stick welding, is preferred. Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement solutions promptly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and technical skills relevant to the role. A commitment to safety practices while working at heights or with heavy machinery.
