Job Duties:
Under the direction of the superintendent / principal, the selected candidate will be assigned on a daily basis, at any facility operating within the Golden Feather Union Elementary School District (Butte Valley / Concow). Some of these duties include repairs to buildings / equipment / grounds, servicing / repairing district vehicles, landscaping, pool maintenance, custodial / housekeeping, loading / unloading / driving vehicles / students, moving equipment / furniture, general construction including painting / plumbing / carpentry / cabinetry / electrical / welding, other duties as assigned, and any other duty to help the operation of the school district may be assigned for which the employee is qualified and/or trained to perform.
Requirements / Qualifications
Pass Pre-employment Drug Screen LiveScan Valid California Driver's License with Drivers License Information Request Printout High School Diploma or Equivalency Random Drug Screening for Home-to-School Van Transportation DOT Medical Physical Applicants must submit proof of a high school diploma or equivalent. The selected candidate must possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License and provide a current Driver's License Information Request printout. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, Live Scan fingerprint clearance, and any other required pre-employment clearances. Because this position may include driving District vehicles and transporting students in home-to-school transportation, the selected candidate will also be required to complete and maintain a DOT medical physical and participate in random drug and alcohol screening as required by District policy and applicable law. Additional training, certifications, or clearances may be required depending on assigned duties, including but not limited to pool maintenance, vehicle operation, facilities maintenance, or other operational responsibilities.
