Job Description

Who We Are PTI Technologies Inc. is a world leader in highly-reliable filtration and fluid control equipment and subsystems and miniature CAD/PAD devices, providing innovative, value-added solutions for a full range of mission, flight and life-critical operations across the Aerospace and Defense markets. What You'll Handle Facilities Technician II keeps our Oxnard site running safely and reliably by maintaining building systems and supporting manufacturing equipment uptime. You'll complete preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help coordinate small facility upgrades while providing guidance to Facilities Technician I when needed. Key responsibilities include facility repairs (drywall/paint, minor carpentry, doors/windows), plumbing and basic electrical work, safety checks (fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, emergency lights, sprinklers), floor markings/signage upkeep, and responding to internal service requests. You'll also support the manufacturing floor through PMs, epoxy dispensing equipment upkeep, oven cleaning, parts ordering, and compliant hazardous waste consolidation and shipment prep.
Required qualifications:
High school diploma/equivalent; 2-5 years facility maintenance experience Working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical Ability to read basic prints/layouts; basic computer skills for work orders/PM tracking Safe tool use, solid troubleshooting, and strong safety/compliance focus Apply if you can work independently, stay organized, and deliver consistent results. Your Typical Shift You're onsite Monday-Thursday, starting by reviewing open work orders and the PM schedule, then prioritizing what will keep the facility and production areas stable for the day. Expect a mix of planned tasks and quick-turn support—moving between offices, maintenance areas, and the manufacturing floor as requests come in. You'll coordinate with production, safety, and engineering to line up access, confirm any lockout/tagout needs, and keep documentation current. Some time is spent staging parts and materials, updating trackers, and closing out work in the system. You'll also check that safety stations and emergency equipment are ready, keep areas clean and organized, and step in to advise a junior technician when a job needs a second set of eyes. The work is hands-on and active, with occasional ladder/platform use and PPE when required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range of $20.76-$31.14. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Paid Time Off and Vacation (including Unlimited Paid Time Off), Employee Profit Share Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program, Equipment Stipend, Paid Meals, Snack/Drink Room, and Employee Discounts.
