Description:

The client is looking for a Maintenance Technician 2 to support our Facilities department. As a member of the Facilities department you'll get to support operations in the Deployables Operating Unit.

Responsibilities:

Construct thermal chamber for new program Interpret engineering drawings for dimensions, positioning, etc. of thermal chamber Work with cross functional team to gather information and troubleshoot as required

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent Experience using hand and power tools Experience reading and using engineering drawings Some problem solving, collaboration skills and verbal/written communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills Valid Driver's License US Citizenship is a requirement for employment

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Occasionally be on call during critical processes; e.g. startup of project Experience constructing thermal chambers or other similar structures Proper email communication will only be done to and from @ astyra.com email addresses.
