Job Description

Maintenance Technician Aircraft Maintenance, Warehouse Operations & Flight Test Support - 68905
Pay Rate:
$20 -$25/hr We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician for an onsite opportunity in Palo Alto, California. This role supports critical aircraft maintenance, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving activities, and flight test campaigns within an innovative aerospace and research environment. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational readiness, supporting research and development initiatives, and ensuring efficient logistics and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily shipping and receiving activities while adhering to IATA Dangerous Goods regulations and supporting warehouse operations through inventory management and inter-site shipment coordination. The role includes maintaining and supporting Part 107 operated aircraft and research assets through scheduled maintenance, flight line support, package loading activities, troubleshooting assistance, and modification of aircraft for specialized research and development testing. Candidates will work closely with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve hardware issues, support flight test campaigns, and ensure aircraft readiness for operational and experimental activities. Responsibilities also include contributing to maintenance procedures and documentation, reviewing prototype shipment containers, supporting internal validation efforts, monitoring hardware conditions, and reporting off-nominal events to maintain quality and operational excellence. Required skill sets include strong experience in aircraft maintenance, shipping and receiving operations, warehouse and inventory management, and flight test support activities. Candidates should possess knowledge of Part 107 aircraft operations, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, logistics coordination, and quality control processes. Experience with IATA Dangerous Goods regulations, forklift operations, inventory tracking, hardware diagnostics, technical documentation, and engineering support activities is highly preferred.
