Maintenance Technician

Position Summary Black Meadow Landing is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep, repair, and overall care of resort facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests, residents, and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently while responding to a variety of maintenance needs in a fast-paced resort setting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout resort buildings, rental units, and common areas Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and irrigation systems Complete assigned work orders in a timely, accurate, and professional manner Assist with landscaping support, grounds maintenance, trash removal, and general property cleanup Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards across the resort Support preventative maintenance of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Respond to maintenance emergencies and urgent operational issues as needed Work collaboratively with other departments to support guest satisfaction and resort operations Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and standards Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred (resort, property management, or similar environment a plus) Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair work Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed Requirements Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching Ability to work indoors and outdoors for extended periods Capable of working above shoulder level when needed Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Free RV Site if living on site (employee pays electric) About the Role This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that takes pride in maintaining a beautiful resort environment.
