4 x 10-hour shifts- starting at 06:00/ must be flexible for AM/PM shifts

$26-$27 hourly DOE Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support a production facility through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, building systems, and grounds. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently. Essential Duties Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair pumps, mixers, compressors, valves, piping, tanks, and related equipment Maintain and repair building systems, machine guards, and safety devices Perform basic electrical troubleshooting (PLC experience a plus) Assist with water treatment and utility systems as needed Complete work orders, permits, inspections, and maintenance documentation accurately Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards throughout the facility Coordinate with and escort outside maintenance contractors when on-site Assist with inventory tracking and recordkeeping Follow GMP, SOPs, and all safety and quality guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Lead or Management Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of industrial or maintenance experience preferred Strong mechanical skills; experience with hand and power tools Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and service manuals Millwright and piping experience required Welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and rotary equipment experience a plus Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team Strong communication skills, written and verbal Flexibility to support on-call or varied tasks as needed Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Regular standing, walking, bending, and climbing Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Must maintain focus, prioritize tasks, and work safely at all times
