What We're Looking For:
Perform preventive and routine maintenance on machinery and electrical systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify and address issues before they become critical. Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities, inventory, and repairs. Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring, circuits, motors, control systems, and PLCs, using multimeters and electrical diagrams. Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, and sensors with proper tools. Repair mechanical issues in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems. Operate and maintain Yaskawa robots (preferred). Assist with the installation, upgrading, and modification of machinery and electrical systems to enhance efficiency and safety. Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards, using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs completed. Collaborate with production staff and other technicians to minimize disruptions and address complex maintenance issues. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments regarding maintenance status and issues. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and electrical components.
What You'll Do:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines and electrical systems, including VFDs, to reduce downtime and boost productivity. Identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic tools, then promptly implement effective solutions. Repair or replace wiring, circuits, motors, control systems, and PLCs; read and interpret electrical diagrams and use multimeters. Resolve issues with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems. Operate and maintain Yaskawa robots (preferred), contributing to efficient manufacturing processes. Assist with installing, modifying, and upgrading machinery and electrical systems to enhance performance and safety. Follow OSHA regulations and company protocols, always using the required PPE. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs in our CMMS (e.g., Megamation). Work closely with production teams and other technicians to minimize disruptions and address complex issues efficiently. Track maintenance supplies and electrical components, ensuring sufficient stock levels. Keep supervisors and team members informed about maintenance progress and any significant findings.
