We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies. Summary The Facility Technician Lead will provide general direction and leadership to employees relating to the repair and maintenance of facilities and grounds. This position involves managing the upkeep of operational equipment by performing routine preventative maintenance tasks, various special projects and improvements, and general repairs to yard, buildings and equipment. Responsibilities Manage team of technicians, delegate tasks and provide guidance Manage inventory, create work orders, schedule maintenance, and coordinate with other department Communicate verbally and in writing with coworkers, vendors, and contractors Maintain operational equipment Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions Dismantle machines or equipment to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalog Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges Maintain car wash and ensure all components and supplies are stocked operating efficiently Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions Inspect hazardous waste areas and report deficiencies through the appropriate authorities Adhere to all safety procedures Perform minor building maintenance Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties Performs minor building maintenance such as painting, welding (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.) to provide operable and efficient facilities Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC work Conduct safety inspections of buildings, equipment, and emergency systems Perform landscaping duties, such as cutting weeds, trimming trees and bushes Clean spills of fuel and other materials with the proper materials and personal protective equipment Label, store, and properly dispose of hazardous materials Submit purchase requests per company purchase policy Perform janitorial work Performs Janitorial cleaning of buildings (trash, restrooms) and yard maintenance such as weed abatement Distribute water and restroom supplies as needed Other duties as assigned Compensation $50,000
