If you are a self-starter and enjoy working on our own without consistent supervision, this might be a position for you. Hourly rate WHILE TRAINING, when training is complete you will be paid per pool with average hourly wage ranging from $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. Additional income opportunities for cleaning filters and performing simple repairs. Must be available 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM M-F and some Saturdays are required. We are looking for a helper that desires to run their own pool route after training is completed. Must have a clean driving records, drivers license and Auto Insurance. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Responsibilities Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to keep pools pristine. Conduct regular pool water testing and adjust chemical levels to ensure safety and compliance with health standards. Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; troubleshoot issues and perform repairs using hand tools and power tools. Identify potential mechanical problems early by monitoring equipment performance and conducting preventive maintenance. Maintain detailed records of service activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for each pool. Communicate clearly with clients about maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and any required repairs or upgrades. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool equipment components. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for maintenance tasks. Experience in pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water quality testing. Knowledge of pool systems such as filtration, circulation, heating, and sanitation equipment. Service technician experience is preferred to ensure prompt diagnosis and resolution of technical issues. Ability to perform routine inspections, identify potential problems early, and execute maintenance plans efficiently. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to clients and team members.
