Equipment Maintenance Technician Schedule:
12-hour day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM PT) on a rotating compressed workweek. Teams work either Sun-Tue + alternating Wed or Thu-Sat + alternating Wed. The Equipment Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facilities in accordance with safety, productivity, and maintenance systems and processes, supporting the achievement of goals and objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform periodic preventive maintenance of machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Perform highly diversified tasks to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanical skills, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Perform periodic preventive maintenance of machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Along with supervisors, you will assist with training on how to safely operate equipment. Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly. Must be able to build a relationship with all team members. Perform other tasks as assigned. Experience/Education 3-8 years of experience as an Equipment Technician, Mechanical/Electrical Technician, or similar experience preferred. Minimum of 2 year in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex equipment safely and confidently. Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and develop new technology. Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced start-up setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Ability to operate hand tools and fabrication experience is a plus.
Schedule:

Hourly Pay Range:
$25/hr. - $45 depending on years of experience and level. Able/willing to travel as needed. Available/willing to work overtime to meet project commitments, as required. Work Environment - Office Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and exposure to hazardous materials used in the manufacturing process. Work Environment - Manufacturing/Shop Environment Includes a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to hazardous materials used during material prep process. PPE May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump-caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures. Ear Plugs are recommended in areas of high noise levels that meet minimum OSHA requirements.
