• Part-time Seeking Facility Maintenance/Caretaker for twelve court tennis club within park setting.

To manage and maintain the physical cleaning and upkeep for active and growing twelve court tennis facility. While ensuring safety, security and overall beautification of the facility. Caretaker will work Independently, is a highly self motivated individual, is accountable, sets own schedule and completes projects in timely manner of importance. Is detail oriented, has ability to problem solve and troubleshoot on a budget. Caretaker is realistic, enterprising, helpful, flexible, affable and enjoys working outdoors and around people. Can creatively juggle projects around club activity. Appreciates and strives to be around clean and well maintained environments. Job responsibilities includes but not limited to:

• Washing with water broom twelve tennis courts quarterly or as needed;
• Power blowing of leaves and debris on all twelve courts daily
• Power blowing stairways, patios, sidewalks. Able to carry a heavy gas powered blower for 2-3 hours.
• Pre-cleaning of court gutters behind all courts.
• Keep patios organized and orderly. Move ball hoppers and coaching equipment out of pathways. Keep three water coolers supplied daily.
• Repair court sweeper wheels and handles, empty leaf buckets regularly
• Remove cobwebs on gates, stair railings, under benches, chairs, court trays and tables.
• Upkeep of all sidewalk trash cans regularly.
• Pull weeds on court edges, court cracks. Remove ants on courts as needed.
• Remove green fuzz on tennis courts cracks, patio cracks.
• Litter removal along sidewalks, including parking lot.
• Trim overgrown trees/bushes around facility as needed. Maintain, repair and replace broken equipment:
• Nets, net straps, court trays, court counters, court trash cans, light switches, water cooler equipment, chairs, benches, water rollers, court sweepers, tables, sheds.
• Maintain windscreens, paint fencing (w complete attention to detail) as needed
• Fix and replace court signage, put up take down banners.

Other aspects of the position:

• Plan, execute, and manage details of the job in a disciplined and organized manner. Will prepare weekly work schedule and submit maintenance reports monthly.
• The position requires a twenty hour work week .

M-S start time 6:30am to blow off all courts before members arrive and to meet the club's SUP City requirement.

Otherwise:

• Schedule will be flexible to work around club's prime time hours.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, climb ladder. Hourly wage $25.

Work week to look something like:

Mon-Sat:

6:30-8:30a to clean all courts, plus more hours between 11am and 4pm on suitable days when organization slows down during mid day.
