Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, fixtures, furniture, and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or fixture replacements promptly and efficiently. Conduct electrical repairs or installations following safety standards and regulations. Assist with painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and other general handyman tasks to improve the facility's appearance and functionality. Inspect the property regularly to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs and take corrective action. Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades when necessary. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure accountability and smooth operations. Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance, repair work, or related roles. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and basic building codes. Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members or vendors. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
