The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance needs of the property. Hotel Emblem is just steps away from everyone's favorite things to do in San Francisco. From art to boutiques, there's always something to discover in Downtown San Francisco. Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following; Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Basic electrical and plumbing repairs. Carpentry and screening. Interior and exterior painting. Changing locks, installing smoke alarms. Pool maintenance. Maintain shop and tools in clean, orderly and safe condition. Periodically clean gutters, drain water heaters. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Pay Range:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
