Job Description

A & A Health Services San Pablo is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. We provide transitional housing and resident centered care services for clients suffering from mental health, addiction, and/or dual diagnosis. Join our team to help keep our brand new facility looking shiny and new. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with the ability to supervise projects, maintain equipment, and fabricate solutions as needed. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics. The Facilities Technician will ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently and safely while adhering to company standards. Availability The ideal candidate for this position should be available to work at short notice for the AM shift (6am - 2pm) Monday - Sunday. The On-Call Maintenance Technician will be on-call as needed to provide coverage during short-notice call-offs and unplanned absences, planned absences - both short-term and long-term, and leave-coverage as needed. Responsibilities Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient operations. Maintain and repair various building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to facilities maintenance. Read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and logic controllers. Perform residential painting tasks as required to maintain aesthetic standards of the facility. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Document maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs or projects. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems. Familiarity with reading schematics and understanding logic controllers is essential. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
