In this role, inspect, maintain, repair, and preserve the quality and functionality of premier residential properties. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of high-end construction materials, finishes, working knowledge of MEP, pool/spa, security and AV systems, along with the craftsmanship, discretion, and professionalism expected in premium environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to perform field service tasks, and support the development of the department. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Maintenance & Repairs Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high-end finishes, fixtures, and systems, including stone, exotic wood, custom millwork, luxury tile, specialty metals, waterproofing systems and integrated smart-home technologies. Investigate, troubleshoot issues and coordinate appropriate subcontractors to assist in repair to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with minimal disruption to occupants. Work with property managers as directed on the upkeep of exterior hardscape, landscape features, pools, and specialty outdoor installations to pristine condition. Quality Assurance & Preservation Inspect properties regularly for signs of wear, damage, or system inefficiencies; proactively address issues before they escalate. Follow manufacturer and architect-specified care procedures to preserve the integrity of luxury finishes and custom installations. Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs and service records for all systems and equipment. Special Projects & Coordination Collaborate with internal and external team, including architects, designers, specialty trades, and vendors to execute repairs and renovations to the highest standard. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring all work aligns with the property's aesthetic and quality requirements. Provide expert input on long-term maintenance planning and capital improvements.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years in luxury construction, maintenance, or related trades, with a strong background in high-end residential or hospitality projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, and finish restoration. Able to read and interpret plans, accurately read measuring tapes and perform construction industry computations.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with premium materials and systems, including Crestron/Lutron automation, radiant heating, pool/spa, waterproofing and building envelope systems, specialty glazing, and architectural lighting. Attention to

Exceptional eye for craftsmanship and ability to match original construction quality during repairs.
Professionalism:
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and client service.
Certifications:
Cal-OSHA safety training, trade licenses, and manufacturer-specific maintenance certifications preferred.
Technology:
Able to utilize productivity technology for reporting, record keeping and communication.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Driving:
Valid California driver's license with clean record.
Personal:
