Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing a wide range of repair and preventative maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and repair various appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct equipment repairs including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, electrical panels, motors, pumps, and other machinery. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical support and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex maintenance or repair projects when necessary. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, construction support, and general building maintenance. Experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical issues is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors when needed. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
