Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in distribution and maintenance services, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the facility operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm What's the Job? Assist the current Maintenance Mechanic with routine in-house maintenance tasks and inspections. Perform basic compliance and regulatory inspections, ensuring documentation is completed and filed properly. Support preventative maintenance activities and coordinate with outside service providers/vendors. Handle small-scale plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry repairs as needed. Manage communication with third-party vendors and serve as a point of contact for service providers within the facility. What's Needed? At least 2 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance. Basic troubleshooting skills in equipment, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems. Knowledge of safe and proper use of ladders, hand tools, PPE, and safety protocols. Ability to interpret instructions in various formats including written, oral, or diagrammatic.
