We are entering our next stage of scale one focused on disciplined growth, margin clarity, and predictable digital revenue. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Role Overview We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and mechanically skilled Machine Maintenance & Facilities Technician to oversee machine maintenance, equipment repairs, facility upkeep, and QA/QC support operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all machinery and equipment operate efficiently, maintaining the grounds and facility, completing general handyman projects, and supporting cost-saving initiatives through vendor management and part sourcing. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and capable of troubleshooting, repairing, fabricating, or sourcing machine parts while helping improve operational efficiency throughout the facility. Machine Maintenance & Repair Perform routine maintenance on production and operational machinery. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and machines. Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Maintain service logs, repair records, and maintenance schedules. Ensure all machines operate safely and meet operational standards. Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and urgent repair needs. Vendor & Parts Management Communicate and coordinate with machine vendors and parts suppliers. Source replacement parts, tools, and maintenance supplies. Research and identify lower-cost alternatives for machine components and repairs. Negotiate pricing and lead times when possible to reduce operational costs. Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers. Track inventory of commonly used parts and supplies. Fabrication & Cost Savings Modify, fabricate, or recreate machine parts and components when practical to reduce expenses and downtime. Assist in designing simple solutions or custom fixes for equipment issues. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost reduction. Utilize tools and equipment safely to create or repair components as needed. Facility & Grounds Maintenance Serve as the facility's general handyman and maintenance support. Repair broken fixtures, equipment, doors, shelving, lighting, and other facility items. Complete small projects including installations, painting, organization, and improvements. Maintain grounds and ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and safe. Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building repairs. QA/QC Support Assist QA/QC operations and production support as needed. Help maintain company quality and safety standards. Support production teams by ensuring machinery operates consistently and correctly. Assist with inspections and identifying equipment-related quality concerns. Qualifications Experience with machine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. General handyman, facilities maintenance, or fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read manuals, schematics, and parts diagrams. Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Manufacturing or production facility experience. Preventative maintenance program experience. QA/QC support experience. Welding, fabrication, machining, or custom part creation experience. Work Environment Indoor and outdoor work environments. Physical labor including standing, bending, lifting, and operating tools/equipment. May require occasional overtime or weekend work depending on operational needs.

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
