Job Description

A leading company specializing in equipment maintenance is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support their team. This is a full-time position based on-site near Santa Maria, CA. The role involves overseeing mechanical and electrical health across multiple wash locations and ensuring optimal equipment performance.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on commercial wash equipment. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on various components. Manage scheduling, ordering parts, and maintaining spare inventory. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime. Document repair activities and provide team training on equipment use.
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial equipment maintenance. Proven electrical troubleshooting skills with a focus on 480-volt systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in sustained positions. Welding skills and PLC troubleshooting experience are advantageous.
