In this role, you will help ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our commercial properties across multiple locations. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in building maintenance and repairs. This role requires regular travel throughout the East Bay, Central Valley, and Sacramento Valley. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance across multiple facilities, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor construction work. Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and resolve issues proactively. Troubleshoot and complete repairs using schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. Assist with small projects involving welding, electrical installations, and mechanical repairs. Maintain safe work practices and follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support facility upgrades, renovations, and preventative maintenance programs. Help maintain equipment uptime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Maintain accurate documentation of completed work orders and repairs. Requirements & Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance, handyman services, or a related maintenance role. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, welding, and general repair techniques preferred. Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance tracking systems is a plus. Experience using electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters is preferred. Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently across multiple job sites. Strong communication and organizational skills. Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus. Must have reliable transportation and own basic tools required for the position. Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial property maintenance or manufacturing environments. Basic PLC knowledge is a plus.
