Handyman / Skilled Construction & Property Maintenance (On-Site Housing Available) Nella Terra Cellars Sunol, CA Job Details Part-time $50 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Paid housing Employee discount Qualifications Drywall Driver's License Skid steer loader Frame carpentry Woodworking Full Job Description About the role Two adjacent family-owned properties in the Sunol Highlands; Nella Terra Cellars (a working winery and event venue) and a neighboring ranch property, roughly 200 acres combined. We have steady construction and maintenance work across both and are looking for one capable person to handle it. Current projects include a commercial wine cave build, with ongoing repairs and improvements to vineyard, event, and ranch infrastructure. This role comes with on-site housing on the ranch property; ideal for someone who wants to live in the country and trade the commute for open space, vineyards, and quiet. What you'll do General and skilled handyman work across both properties: carpentry, framing, concrete, basic plumbing and electrical, drywall, painting, and repairs Support active construction projects, including the wine cave build Maintain event, vineyard, and ranch infrastructure (fencing, gates, structures, irrigation hardware, equipment) Operate basic equipment (skid steer, tractor, etc.) and keep tools and shop organized Respond to the variety of fix-it needs that come with running a winery, event venue, and ranch What we're looking for Real construction and repair experience; you can work independently and figure things out Comfortable across multiple trades; metal fabrication or welding is a strong plus Reliable, safety-minded, and able to manage your own time across competing priorities Valid driver's license Someone who genuinely wants the rural, live-on-property lifestyle Compensation $50.00/hour On-site housing on the ranch property Full-time, year-round work with steady project variety To apply: Reply through Indeed with a brief summary of your experience and the kinds of projects you've worked on
