AM Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to support equipment maintenance and repair operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment while ensuring equipment reliability and production efficiency. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and experienced in preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in safe and efficient operating condition Troubleshoot, examine, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery Dismantle equipment and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed Complete preventative maintenance activities according to production schedules and management timelines Support maintenance-related project activities and equipment upgrades Identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies Work independently while supporting production and maintenance teams as needed

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous maintenance mechanic or industrial maintenance experience required Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience with preventative maintenance programs Good communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to safely use hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Apprenticeship or equivalent technical training Extrusion equipment experience E-beam equipment experience Military mechanical experience strongly welcomed Manufacturing or production equipment maintenance background

Work Environment:

Manufacturing and industrial production environment Fully onsite role 3rd shift schedule Requires adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift during shifts Ability to work around industrial machinery and equipment Ability to safely handle tools and maintenance equipment
