Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for aMaintenance Technicianto join a leading Company located in theTemecula, CA surrounding area.
Pay Rate:
$40 per hour. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining production and facility equipment and systems. Assists in the departmental organization and safety efforts, orders parts required to maintain repair part inventories, and works collaboratively with other maintenance employees, production counterparts, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Maintain flexibility and respond quickly to shifting priorities and emergency, unscheduled repairs of production equipment based on real-time production needs. + Perform scheduled maintenance and regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. + Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. + Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and machinery. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, conduct tests, and make necessary adjustments. + Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. + Detect faulty operations , defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. + Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. + Adhere to all rules and regulations as they apply to lockout/tagout. + Must be able to work independently and also know when to call for assistance. + Strong problem solving/troubleshooting experience required. + Has the authority and responsibility to comply with food safety and quality requirements and to report, escalate, or stop work when food safety, quality, or regulatory issues are identified .
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ 2+ years of maintenance in a manufacturing environment. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. + Experience with conveyor systems and controls. + Experience with production equipment maintenance. + Good working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. + General background in systems integration and experience working with PLC's and software. + Good working knowledge of carpentry and plumbing issues and ability to repair. + Excellent troubleshooting abilities. + Ability to communicate system problems to peers and management effectively. + Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude to safely operate and maintain equipment, minimizing risk of injury to self and others. + Able to safely operate a forklift and scissor lift after on-the-job training.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred + Fabrication/Welding experience preferred. Benefits offered vary by contract.
