Job Description
Automatic Pool Cover Technician / Maintenance Technician Cover Care, Inc. is looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined technician to join our growing team. We specialize in cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and installing automatic pool covers for high-end residential properties throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. No pool cover experience is required. We will train the right person. If you've worked in apartment maintenance, automotive repair, construction, electrical, plumbing, garage doors, gates, pool equipment, HVAC, or general mechanical repair, we'd like to talk with you. Pay & Benefits $24-$35+ per hour depending on experience Paid training Company vehicle provided (take-home vehicle available) Overtime opportunities Stable year-round work Opportunities for advancement What You'll Do Drive a company vehicle to customer homes Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair automatic pool cover systems Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Use hand tools and power tools Work outdoors at residential properties Communicate professionally with customers Complete service reports and take job photos Ideal Candidate You may be a great fit if you: Have at least 3 years of maintenance, mechanical, construction, or repair experience Enjoy troubleshooting and fixing things Can safely use hand and power tools Are dependable and self-motivated Take pride in quality workmanship Have strong attention to detail Enjoy working independently and as part of a team Are comfortable working outdoors Have good communication skills and a professional appearance Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record Authorized to work in the United States Able to pass a background check Able to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance when needed Able to kneel, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the day Fluent in English Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Apartment maintenance Automotive repair Pool equipment repair Plumbing Electrical Construction Garage door repair Gate operator repair HVAC Handyman services Location We strongly encourage applicants who live in or near: Thousand Oaks Westlake Village Agoura Hills Calabasas Woodland Hills Encino Sherman Oaks We look for good people first and pool cover experience second.
