Senior Maintenance Technician -
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Schedule:
Night Shift | 12-Hour Rotating Schedule | 6-month contract (extends) |

$25-27/hour About the Role A leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join its facilities and engineering team. This is a hands-on, technically advanced role supporting a broad range of utility, facility, and manufacturing equipment across production floors, analytical labs, utility plants, and office areas. Shift Schedule This position operates on a 12-hour night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays. During the initial onboarding and training period (typically 2-6 weeks), the schedule will follow a standard Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM day shift to support knowledge transfer. What You'll Do Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing of a wide variety of utility and facility systems and equipment Develop, author, and execute GMP quality and safety documentation including SOPs, Change Controls (CCMS), Non-Conformances (NCs), Work Orders, Job Plans (JP), Hazard Risk Assessments (HRA), and Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to production operations, in full compliance with GMP standards, applicable SOPs, CFR regulations, and site-specific procedures Serve as a technical resource for peers and internal clients across manufacturing, maintenance, utility, and analytical functions, as well as contracted service providers Provide training to staff and project teams; deliver audit support and participate in audit activities Interpret and revise loop sheets, electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O wiring diagrams, and panel drawings Reconcile components and finished product; calculate and track product temperature exposure times What You Bring Experience in filling and finishing pharmaceutical manufacturing, with preference for vial inspection processes Strong understanding of measurement systems, calculations, and the metric system Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a regulated manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings including schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams Familiarity with CMMS platforms and quality documentation systems Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently on a night shift This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
