Maintenance Technician - Food & Beverage Manufacturing Torrance, CA | $33-$42/hr 2nd

10:00pm-6:30am (+$1.00/hr shift premium) About the Role We're a growing food and beverage manufacturer looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running at their best. This is a hands-on role with real variety - you'll work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems in a fast-paced GMP environment. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control system failures across production equipment Applying electrical knowledge (VFDs, SCRs, motor starters) and PLC/SLC logic to resolve equipment issues Using assembly drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals to tune and configure equipment Operating SCADA systems and maintaining accurate documentation Working with instrumentation including RTDs, pressure transmitters, I/Ps, and vortex flow meters Supporting basic plumbing, metalworking, and general facilities maintenance as needed Training and mentoring operators and new technicians on equipment and troubleshooting procedures Maintaining a safe, GMP-compliant work area at all times What We're Looking For 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a food processing or similar industrial manufacturing environment Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment with sophisticated control systems Solid understanding of electrical and logic principles (PLC/SLC, VFDs, motor controls) Familiarity with SCADA systems and process instrumentation Good communication skills and comfortable working within a team environment GMP and food safety awareness High school diploma or GED (preferred) Why Apply Competitive pay: $33 base, up to $42/hr for exceptional candidates Shift premiums on top of base rate Stable, growing company with ongoing investment in its people and equipment Opportunity to develop skills across a range of systems and take on a mentoring role To apply, use the button above or email will.manning@acepartners.com for more information.
