Job Description

Description As a Maintenance Technician , you will play a key role on the Operations Maintenance team, supporting the repair and maintenance of material handling and pneumatic systems across the facility. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to work on and maintain automated packaging and distribution equipment . Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors) Perform preventive maintenance routines and accurately complete required documentation Conduct battery changes and preventative battery maintenance Track downtime and log maintenance activity in daily reports and PM sheets Manage and complete work orders within a CMMS system Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes Support inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies Utilize basic electrical knowledge to support repairs and diagnostics Required Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance 2+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics Working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office tools Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures Experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments Hands-on work with conveyors, robotics, and automated systems Exposure to PLC systems and controls Experience maintaining equipment in line with OEM and safety standards Technical education (trade school, associate degree, or apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical field) What Will Set You Apart Experience with robotic systems and advanced automation Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments Education High school diploma or equivalent required Technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.25 - $34.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
