Residential Window/Door Installer

Responsibilities Measure and assess window and door openings to ensure proper fit and alignment. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to remove old fixtures and install new windows and doors accurately. Perform heavy lifting safely to transport windows, doors, and related materials to job sites. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and metal stud framing techniques to secure fixtures seamlessly. Install hardware such as locks, handles, hinges, and fixtures with attention to detail for optimal functionality. Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment. Experience Prior construction site experience with residential projects preferred; familiarity with remodeling or handyman work is a plus. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is advantageous for understanding project scope and materials planning. Hands-on experience with glass installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and trim carpentry required. Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, pry bars; experience with power tools is essential.. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions; excellent attention to detail is critical for quality workmanship.
