2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment and machinery within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance practices. The Maintenance Mechanic will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations. Duties Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including ohmmeters, to analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems. Perform hydraulic system repairs and maintenance as needed. Execute field service tasks, addressing mechanical issues at various locations as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes. Experience Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulics, and precision measuring instruments is essential. Ability to analyze mechanical issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions. Experience with field service operations is a plus. Knowledge of CMMS software is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. English/Spanish preferred. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Previous mechanical experience is helpful.
