You will perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic equipment. You will fabricate metal framework by welding and/or using industrial fasteners, you will fabricate tubing/piping systems using various types of material (copper, stainless steel, PVC, CPVC), and you will fabricate sheet metal duct work systems. In addition, you will also perform facility projects involving plumbing, drywall, floor repair, etc. The successful candidate must meet or exceed the following qualifications: 4-8 years of directly related work experience in a high paced manufacturing environment; must have own tools and tool chest; must be able to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, prints, drawings, and manuals; must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively; must have a valid driver's license; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, must have demonstrated competency in plumbing, electrical, welding, sheet metal fabrication, HVAC, mechanical/pneumatic, hydraulic repair. This is a union position that is hourly-non-exempt and is paid weekly. The hourly pay range is $30.38 to $40.48 (DOE) per hour for 1st shift, and the 2nd shift position receives an extra $3.00 per hour in shift differential pay.
