  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician
  • III / Master Electrician to join our dynamic team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead electrical maintenance and repair activities across our operations and facilities. As a key contributor, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Your expertise in electrical troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our infrastructure. Core Mechanical Skills Expert troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of high-speed food production equipment. Precision disassembly/reassembly while preserving sanitary design. Proficient in blueprints, schematics, welding (TIG/MIG/stick
  • stainless), pipefitting, pneumatics, hydraulics, and alignment.
Advanced Electrical & Controls Skills Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair of 480V and below systems (3-phase motors, controls, and power distribution). Expertise with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), servo motors, and motor control centers. Ability to diagnose and repair industrial control systems, including relays, contactors, sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, and safety circuits. Basic to intermediate PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or others)
  • reading ladder logic, forcing I/O, and making minor program adjustments.
Experience with HMI interfaces, instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, level), and calibration of process controls. Troubleshooting of electrical panels, wiring, and grounding issues in wet/food-grade environments. Ability to perform electrical repairs safely and in compliance with
NFPA 70E
(electrical safety) standards. Basic understanding of robotics and automated packaging systems (a plus for higher-level roles). Food Plant Specific Requirements Deep knowledge of HACCP, GMP, USDA/FDA, SQF/BRC, and hygienic design principles. Strict adherence to sanitation protocols during all repairs. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Proficient with CMMS systems. Root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions. Use of predictive tools (vibration, infrared thermography, ultrasound). Safety & Compliance Mastery of Lockout/Tagout, arc flash safety, and electrical safe work practices. Strong knowledge of OSHA and plant safety standards. Desired Certifications (Key for Higher-Level Candidates)
Electrical Certifications :
Industrial Electrical Certification (trade school)
OSHA Electrical Safety Training Food Safety :
HACCP Certification SQF Practitioner or BRC Auditor training experience(highly valued)
Other :
Welding certifications Forklift / Aerial Lift / Scissor Lift Refrigeration / Boiler Operator Experience Level 5-10+ years in industrial maintenance, with at least 3 years in food or beverage manufacturing . Demonstrated ability to handle both mechanical and electrical issues independently on complex, automated lines. Experience training or mentoring junior technicians.
