Job Description
PLA Supply Chain Services is hiring a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician III to lead equipment upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance across our facility. This role is ideal for experienced professionals in industrial maintenance , mechanical repair , or equipment troubleshooting . As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician , you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving machinery critical to our operations. Your technical ability, attention to detail, and safety-first mindset will ensure our systems run efficiently and reliably. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who identifies as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or Industrial Equipment Technician looking to take the next step in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
Schedule:
Tues-Saturday 9am to 6pm; (1 hour lunch)What You'll Need:
3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician , Mechanical Maintenance Technician , or in an industrial maintenance setting Proficiency with troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems Familiarity with PLCs, hand and power tools, and maintenance documentation practices High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications are a plus Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independentlyWhy Join Us:

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including: SMETCO, Palamatic systems, forklifts, compressors, motors, pneumatic and vacuum systems, HVAC, and facility infrastructure Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns in production machinery Manage and maintain the forklift certification program; ensure all drivers are certified and compliant Maintain and update equipment logs, safety reports, and maintenance records Monitor spare parts inventory and manage vendor relationships for repairs and service Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and all company safety/environmental policies Collaborate with site leadership and customers to address reporting needs and ensure equipment reliability Perform building and facility repairs as needed PLA is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
