  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance, with a strong commitment to providing excellent service to residents. The Maintenance Technician will perform daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and apartment turns to ensure the community is safe, functional, and welcoming. Responsibilities Complete resident service requests promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first attitude. Perform general maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance work. Assist with apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, flooring, and appliance installation/repair. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, building systems, and common areas. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with building codes and company standards. Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts; notify supervisor when reordering is needed. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to complete larger projects and community-wide repairs. Provide on-call support for after-hours emergencies as scheduled. Requirements Prior experience in maintenance, preferably in multifamily housing or residential property management. Hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. EPA certification for HVAC (preferred but not required). Ability to use maintenance tools, power equipment, and follow technical instructions. Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents and staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
