Apprentice Door Installer

ENTRY-LEVEL.

If you have 2-3 years of experience in construction, especially carpentry and door installation, then let's talk! We need someone who is independent, experienced, and willing to go the extra mile with customer service. You must be self-motivated, self-directed, a stickler for quality and efficiency, and have an entrepreneurial spirit as you will be working independently in the field and expected to make your own decisions. Micromanaging is not in our company culture, but unlimited training, support, and encouraging each other to become the best at what we do is. After thorough on-the job training, we tell you what needs to be done and expect you to complete the job. Working with us means working in an environment where the schedule is flexible, the work is long-term and consistent, and you will be working alone at different job sites every day. And we pay every Friday via direct deposit. You must have a smartphone and be tech-savvy as work is scheduled through Google Calendar and our proprietary software platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the installation of doors by preparing and measuring openings accurately. Utilize hand and power tools to hang doors securely and efficiently. Perform heavy lifting as required to position doors and frames. Read instructions and schematics to ensure precise installation per manufacturer specs. Collaborate with team members as needed to maintain workflow and safety standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

: construction, handyman, carpentry, and/or door installation experience, a valid driver's license, a reliable pickup truck or van, Basic tools, and iPhone. Please respond with your contact info, experience, availability, and the city you live in.
